Intense ruby red, very pleasant nose with mainly forest fruits, cherries and herbs. The fresh acids, typical of the Barbera, make this wine very easy to use with numerous meat dishes and cheeses.Excellent with any kind of meat dish. You should also try it with tortellini of filling as well as with fatty cheese.
La Soraia is located in the village of Bosio. In these high-lying vineyards, the Cortese grapes are produced, which are used for Gavi. The wines are typified by the old calming clay in the soil. This soil gives the wines their distinct character and complexity.
Grape: 100% Barbera.
Winemaking: The grapes are harvested by hand. After a soft pressing, a classic vinification in stainless steel at low temperature follows. After the fermentation, the wine refines for several months in large oak barrels.
